About the Mersey Division FGDP
The Mersey Division of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners aims to encourage dentists within our locality and ultimately their team members to join our Faculty. The main objective of our Faculty is to raise standards of patient care through promotion of evidence based dental care by means of our publications, training courses and promotion of research and clinical audit in general dental practice.
We are proud to be the academic home of General Dental Practice and have an established career structure for General Dental Practitioners which begins with the MFGDP(UK), the basic examination for committed GDPs which ultimately, through a structured career process will end in the ‘gold’ standard qualification for GDPs – the FFGDP(UK).
